Are you an experienced audit and compliance professional looking to make a real impact? Join DCITHS as a Senior Audit and Compliance Officer, where you will play a key role in delivering high quality internal audit and compliance services across our principal department and portfolio agencies.
As a Senior Audit and Compliance Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering independent, risk-based assurance and compliance management. You will work closely with our co-sourced internal audit provider to oversee and coordinate internal audit activities while also driving compliance initiatives within the principal department.
In addition, the role will be responsible for preparing high quality reports and updates to senior management and the Audit and Risk Committee on audit and compliance matters. Responding to emerging issues and developing evidence-based solutions will be a large part of this role.
This role will be reporting to the Associate Director Audit & Compliance and will be an advocate for the audit function to our internal stakeholders, with a particular focus on vendor management to improve services being offered.
