To work as part of the theatre team in providingquality care to patients undergoing anaesthesia and to provide, skilled clinical and technical assistance to the anaesthetist

To provide a high standard of care pre-, during and post-anaesthesia for patients following Hospital guidelines and Operation Theatre standards

To ensure that the operation theatre and supplies are prepared and that all anaesthetic equipment is cleaned, sterilised and disinfected pre-operative and post-operative

To ensure that anaesthetic stock, medication and equipment is controlled

To ensure that patient records and documentation are maintained

To actively promote patient satisfaction

Diploma in Anaesthetic Technology from an accredited institution, college, or university

Licensed or eligible for licensure as Anaesthesia Technician according to the UAE requirements

Licensed in Country of origin

Current and valid ACLS certification

Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate

At least 2years’ experience as an Anaesthesia Technician in a hospital environment
