AV Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual (AV) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting, setting up, operating, and maintaining AV equipment for various multimedia productions. This includes cameras, lighting, video equipment, and sound systems. Additionally, the technician will assist with video editing, inventory management, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure seamless events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transport, assemble, and install AV equipment for events, presentations, and productions.
2. Set up and configure cameras, lighting, sound systems, and video equipment.
3. Operate and monitor AV systems during live events to ensure high-quality audio and visual output.
4. Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of AV equipment.
5. Edit and copy video recordings as needed.
6. Maintain inventory, order necessary supplies, and ensure proper storage of equipment.
7. Collaborate with clients, event organizers, and team members to meet project requirements.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AV technology.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of audio, video, and lighting equipment.
3. Ability to troubleshoot and repair AV systems.
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
