You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

1. You will be responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all kitchen and laundry equipment to ensure its operation and reliability. You will provide technical attention to all F&B related equipment including mechanical and electrical systems fixed and portable, ensuring all methods, materials and practices meet company standards and Local and National codes - with little or no supervision. Check on performance of laundry, kitchen and gas equipment systems and components. Check and maintain all hot ranges, kettles, braising pans, convection ovens, bain-maries, mixers, pass counters, cold cabinets, dishwashers, hot cabinets, and all related equipment to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
2. You’ll also assist in managing the physical plant including equipment, guest room furniture, and all FF&E items and assist engineers in performing their tasks. Maintain engineering area, clean and in an orderly manner. Keep close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation. Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor.

4. You will comply with the departmental/corporate SOP & LSOP. You will ensure implementation of Dorchester Collection Policies, Standards and Procedures in relation to Engineering fairly and consistently. You will be aware of all existing departmental job safety analysis and strive to work in an accident-free manner and to create a safe working environment for yourself and for others.
