Nurse - Claims Officer - Insurance
A medical claims officer validates the information on all clinical claims from people seeking payment from their insurer. Claims must be extensively examined to ensure that there is no missing or insufficient details. In addition, a processor has to maintain careful records of insurance claims and act on lapsed situations. Medical claims processors are expected to have a considerable knowledge of medical terminology, along with experience using a computer system.

Responsibilities include:

1. Recording and maintaining insurance policy and claims information in a database system.
2. Determining policy coverage and computing claim amounts.
3. Processing claims payments.
4. Answering queries related to policy coverage criteria and standards.
5. Adhering to government, state, and company policies and procedures.
6. Reviewing and evaluating medical documents to authorize or reject payment to doctors.
7. Communicating with medical professionals' offices or insurers regarding case issues.
8. Performing other clerical tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED 6,000.00 - AED 7,000.00 monthly

Capacity to commute/relocate: Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred).

Experience: Case processor or in a relevant role: 2 years (Preferred).
