Overall Description:

Calcium is seeking a mid-weight, highly motivated, organized, and friendly team-player that can coordinate the installation of events structures and branding for various types of events including sporting, cultural, and corporate. The right candidate needs to be an individual that understands outdoor events build (staging, perimeter, displays, booths, oversize branding, furniture, tents, etc.) and is experienced in events setup and branding. The events may also include the management of entertainment, activations, and audio/visual elements when needed.

Responsibilities:

1. The preparation of events proposals and presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint in collaboration with the Designers, 3D visualizers, suppliers, and management's input.
2. Developing event budgets and quotations with the support of the Production team.
3. Gathering third-party quotes through Calcium's network of suppliers.
4. Proactively ensuring the set schedule of events installation is followed and executed to a high quality and within the agreed budgets.
5. Briefing the design studio and maintaining production books.
6. Traveling and meeting to service an existing client base, including assuming on-site management for clients' events.
7. Coordinating the entire event setup process under guidance from the manager and coordinating all event materials ensuring all timelines are met.
8. Assisting with the management of budgets in line with the overall events budget; tracking variations, and seeking opportunities to minimize expenditures which will not compromise event quality.
9. Liaising and communicating with the production team and external suppliers to ensure events are executed to plan.

Eligibility:

To be successful in this role you will have:

1. A willingness to travel and work on weekends and long hours.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of events experience with a relevant degree or equivalent.
3. A strong record of achievement in the current position.
4. Advanced computer and analytical skills; knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is essential.
5. A valid Driver's License; relevant skills can add value to our company addressing the above eligibility requirements.
6. Bilingual.
7. Must be from the events & exhibitions industry.
