The key objectives for this role are:

1. Developing comprehensive plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.
2. Leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to align efforts.
3. Allocating manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project goals and deadlines.
4. Ensuring all project activities meet technical standards, quality requirements, and industry regulations.
5. Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
6. Tracking project milestones, performance metrics, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
7. Providing expertise and problem-solving support for complex engineering challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for providing the support on Project Management activities to the UZ1.0MMBD Project team throughout all phases of project execution on management matters related to the allocated portions of the 1.0MMBD Project scope.
2. Responsible for delivery of all systems (equipment & facilities) from design to hand over meeting all Project objectives.
3. Works in close co-ordination with PMT Project Manager for the supervision of the Integrated Project Management Team to ensure that the project objectives are met. Reports regularly to the PMT Project Manager on Project status, critical issues and areas of concern that may affect performance targets and Project objectives.
4. Ensures project compliance with HSE requirements, meeting HSE performance targets during all phases of the project and works with UZ1.0MMBD HSE to ensure that Contractors comply with Company HSE policies, procedures, rules & regulations during execution.
5. Manages the Construction, Fabrication and Commissioning teams to ensure integration and that they perform to their optimum potential, meet their objectives effectively and prioritize workload.
6. Stewards the activities of 1.0MMBD Contractor to ensure that the Project is executed in accordance with the Contract, Company's technical and contractual requirements.
7. Monitors Contractor efforts in managing interfaces with other EPC Contractors, ADNOC Offshore Groups/Departments, other operating Companies and provides guidance as required.
8. Contributes to the development and definition of project execution strategies, scope of work, schedule and budgetary cost estimates to ensure that the Project is properly planned, meets user requirements and overall execution plans.
9. Monitors Project Team activities to ensure that EPC contractor critical subcontracts are awarded and executed according to the project schedule, quality and cost.
10. Provides support on Contract Administration duties to ensure that Consultants and Contractors are effectively and efficiently administered including monitoring of financial expenditure.
11. Attends Weekly and Monthly Progress Review Meetings with Contractors and other meetings at Sites on a regular basis.
12. Participates in Management meetings and disseminates information.
13. Participates in Project Risk Assessments to ensure that risks to the Project are identified on time, mitigations are planned and properly managed.
14. Ensures proper management of change. Assists in evaluation of Contractors' claims, recommendations to accept/ reject/ negotiate and final Change Order submissions for approval in accordance with Management of Change Procedure.
15. Ensures compliance with close-out procedures, submission of project as-built documentation, material reconciliation, close-out reports and documentation of lessons learnt.
16. Assists UAE Nationals in their development to take up lead roles within the Organization.

Expected:

1. Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
2. Good understanding of Project management elements and standards including Contract terms and conditions.
3. 20 years' experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (Upstream) or other related industrial experience.
4. At least 8-10 years in Project Management handling logically inter-related major projects.
5. Prior experience of working with EPC Contractors / Operating Company / Engineering consultants.
6. Good knowledge of engineering, fabrication, construction, planning, resource allocation, Contract management and administrative functions.
7. Brownfield, modular and offshore project experience preferred during EPC stage.
8. Gas Compression and dehydration experience preferred.
9. Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to the oil and gas industry.
10. Fluency in English with good communication skills.
11. Computer literate.
