B&S Group is seeking an for a detailoriented and driven Assistant Controller to join our Finance team with main focus of assisting Senior controller in overseeing financial operations within our Government & Defense (G&D) business along with wider overview of overall business segments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled finance professional with 23 years of experience in an assistant controller capacity looking to take the next step in their career within a fastpaced international environment.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Perform general ledger accounting and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Support the monthend and yearend close processes.
- Assist in preparing budgets forecasts and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable external and internal policies.
- Assist with preparation of audits.
- Help improve and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Work with the Senior Controller on adhoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Economics.
- 23 years of experience in accounting or a controller/assistant controller role.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Handson experience with accounting systems and ERP tools.
- Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
