• Overseeing and coordinating all phases of construction projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
• Leading project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• Monitoring and managing construction schedules and progress to address delays or issues proactively.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and company policies throughout the construction process.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including clients and project teams, to provide updates and resolve concerns.
• Optimizing resource utilization to improve efficiency and minimize costs without compromising quality.

• Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables
• Supervises all areas on small projects and / or a subset / discipline on larger projects
• Responsible for management and execution of multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with the requirements of the contract between the company and the client, and in accordance with the company’s operating policies and principles.
• Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project.
• Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines / subset of onsite construction.
• Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment.
• Coordinates field personnel work schedules to maximize utilization and ensure work is delivered on schedule
• Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area(s) of control
• Ensure all workers within their area(s) of control receive appropriate training to perform their work in a safe, legal and competent manner including any Health and Safety and site-specific inductions
• Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their area(s) of control, including toolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks in accordance with Wod and client requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent level of site experience in a senior role
• Professional Engineer accreditation preferred
• Minimum of twenty (20) years of previous Construction management experience on large oil and gas development projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior Construction Manager for our client ADNOC Gas in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be client office based with a possibility of onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
