Director of Investments

The Director of Investments will be responsible for overseeing and managing the family office’s diversified investment portfolio, including both real estate and non-real estate asset classes. The role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with deep expertise in real estate investments, as well as experience in public markets and commodities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy covering real estate, public markets, and commodities.
• Oversee portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management across multiple asset classes.
• Conduct ongoing market research, economic analysis, and investment due diligence to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Monitor portfolio performance, making strategic adjustments as needed to optimize returns.
• Source, evaluate, and execute real estate acquisitions, developments, and dispositions across various property types.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and feasibility analysis for potential real estate investments.
• Oversee asset management, including leasing strategies, capital expenditures, and value-add initiatives.
• Oversee investments in equities, fixed income, hedge funds, and other liquid asset classes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have 10+ years of investment management experience, including real estate and public markets.
• Strong track record of sourcing, structuring, and managing real estate investments.
• Experience managing portfolios across equities, fixed income, and commodities.
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis skills.
• Strong network within real estate, capital markets, and investment management communities.
