Summary

Reliable and engaging. As a Resort Host (Residences), you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.

Responsibilities

  1. Constantly apply standard operating procedures in your department.
  2. Demonstrate Banyan Tree's brand service plus standards in all interactions.
  3. Provide a warm welcome & fond farewell to guests and assist Guests according to brand standards.
  4. Remain observant and respond to each Guest who approaches the Reception Desk.
  5. Act as an ambassador of Banyan Tree by providing an excellent first impression.
  6. Maintain a perpetual presence on the Reception Desk throughout the hours of the shift.
  7. Greet all Guests courteously, using the Guest's name whenever possible.
  8. Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  9. Ensure adherence to Banyan Tree's Code of Ethics.
  10. Look after the Accor enrollments and encourage colleagues to enroll more arrivals to achieve the set targets.
  11. Manage the profile updates of all our guests and ensure proper standards are followed.
  12. Conduct courtesy calls to our guests in-house and maintain a record.
  13. Perform daily credit limit checks for all guests in-house.
  14. Monitor guest service personnel to ensure maximum guest satisfaction through personal recognition and prompt cordial attention from arrival through departure.
  15. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, attractions, and any allied information.

Qualifications

Experience/Certificates/Education

  1. 2 years minimum experience in a similar capacity within an ultra-luxury hospitality environment.
  2. Outstanding Guest services skills, professional presentation, and sophisticated communication skills.
  3. Proficient in English (verbal & written); Russian language proficiency is an asset.
  4. Ability to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collected.
  5. Flexibility in terms of working hours.
  6. A hospitality diploma is an asset.
  7. Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite, and Opera PMS systems is recommended.
  8. Ability to handle cash effectively and accurately.
