About the job

To provide a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers by practising fast, efficient and easy buying customer relations' processes.

Your assignment

1. To work professionally and always provide helpful service to all customers at all times within the business unit as assigned.
2. To assist the supervisor in handling customer complaints positively and quickly, within the level of authorisation.
3. Always practice a confident and knowledgeable approach in handling customers and make the buying process as easy as possible at all times.
4. To optimise the relationship with the customers to strive for sales growth and sustained long-term profitability for the company.
5. Actively work together with other departments to continuously improve the shopping experience for customers.
6. To support the department action plan as well as the goals and targets given.

1. Possesses work experience in customer handling.
2. A good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Emotional resilience and possesses ability to handle conflict. Assertive and able to remain calm and controlled when faced with emotional customers under stressful times.
4. Independent, able to use and take personal initiatives to make considered decisions.
5. Able to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced and future-oriented retail environment.
6. Be passionate about customers and act to ensure a positive shopping experience.
7. Willing to work on weekends, shift hours and Public holidays.
