Business Unit: South East Asia Commercial Group
Reporting to: GM
Preference for candidates with relevant experience with main channels such as Guardian, Watsons, Sasa, Cold Storage, 7-11, and other IDP Big Pharmacy, Healthlane, etc. Familiarity with Sales and PNL management of their own accounts is preferred.
Position Summary
If you are a passionate and proactive sales person with experience in trade marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Key Account Manager who is responsible for developing existing and new business, driving sales growth, and market share for the brands in Malaysia.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Accountable for growing H&B distribution network and sales to achieve targets.
- Provide sales management support and develop related trade/marketing strategies for customers.
- Manage, plan, and execute trade marketing activities related to brick-and-mortar and ecommerce aspects.
- Manage a team of merchandisers in routing stock checks, including routes, customer visits, stock health, and stock gaps.
- Negotiate and maintain effective long-term trading relationships with customers.
- Result-oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail in performance data.
- Set, monitor, and control revenue and trade spend to meet monthly/annual budget, P&L, and business KPIs.
- Support 360 business development of brand plans and strategy.
- Capture market potential and customer requirements; tailor the product mix offering to the channel.
- Work closely with KAM & internal teams to manage related functions that help efficiently run the business.
- Ensure orders are secured and delivered on time and work with cross-functional teams to meet customer and business requirements.
- Manage day-to-day business planning and relationships, new business development.
Previous Experience, Qualifications, and Technical Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in FMCG; experience in the Health & Beauty category is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the H&B channel.
- Proven ability to range new products in retail chains, conduct trade marketing activities, and maintain retailer relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor of Commerce/Marketing or other relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous.

Compensation
- Basic Salary: Up to RM6k per month
- Transport Allowance: MYR600 per month
- Phone Allowance: MYR100 per month
- Annual Special Incentive Scheme: (on sales and profit achievement)
- Base tier: 90% of target: 0.5-month salary
