Data Scientist (Reporting & Analysis) – Leeds

Morgan King Group is on the lookout for a Data Scientist with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for turning raw data into meaningful insights. If you’ve got 1-3 years of experience and love working with data, dashboards, and reporting, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Location: Leeds, UK - Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time

What’s the role about?

You’ll be working closely with different teams, helping them make sense of their data and drive smarter business decisions. Day to day, you’ll be:

• Collecting, cleaning, and analysing data to uncover key insights.
• Creating dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
• Performing statistical analysis to support business strategies.
• Working with stakeholders to define key metrics and improve reporting processes.
• Automating data pipelines and reporting workflows where possible.
• Supporting predictive analytics and trend forecasting.

What we’re looking for:

• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or data science.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib or similar libraries).
• A solid understanding of data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Seaborn.
• Good grasp of statistics and A/B testing.
• The ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of machine learning.
• An understanding of business intelligence and KPI tracking.
