An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to join their Music department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons.
2. Teach a range of musical styles and genres.
3. Develop students' practical musicianship skills (instrumental and/or vocal).
4. Foster an understanding of music theory and history.
5. Contribute to extracurricular music activities (e.g., choirs, bands, orchestras) – desirable, but not essential.
6. Teach at an Outstanding school.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. A degree in Music or a related field.
3. Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
4. Proficiency in at least one instrument or voice.
5. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
6. A passion to teach Music.
