Location: Bristol, GBR

• Contribute to the development of innovative detection logic for issues such as chroma dropout, black frames, audio silence, freeze frames.
• Integrate with third party quality control libraries.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and product managers to refine and validate quality control tests.
• Take ownership of code quality through the creation and execution of comprehensive unit tests.
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to system environment, file formats, and test execution.
• Contribute to system design and architecture for scalable and reliable quality control services.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Proficiency in C++ or C# with strong object-oriented design skills.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting complex software systems on Windows or Linux.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and remote teams.

• Knowledge of digital audio and video formats, codecs and metadata.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with Python and Rust.
• Knowledge of gRPC APIs with Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) for high-performance, service to service communication.
