Graduate Software Engineer

Key Details:

- Position: Graduate Engineer

- Location: Hybrid remote, with on-site work at Leigh Spinners Mill, Greater Manchester

- Hours: Flexible

- Salary: Starting at £38,000, with a clear progression up to £50,000+ within 2 years

- Holiday: 30 days paid holiday

What We're Looking For:

- 2:1 or higher degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or similar (we will make exceptions for exceptional people)

- A strong interest in cloud technologies and AI

- A curiosity about cybersecurity

- Comfort using generative AI tools and workflows

- No specific work experience required but we expect you to be comfortable programming in at least one language - we welcome any personal projects or any initiatives you've undertaken.

What you'll be working on:

- Building & deploying semantic search experiences and computer vision pipelines at scale

- Helping develop hybrid-cloud systems in Kubernetes

- Creating data pipelines to ingest large amounts of data for search

- Rapidly prototyping and building UIs in React using component libraries

- Building tooling to help produce & maintain large enterprise code-bases with the assitance of Generative AI
