Aon is seeking an experienced Senior Property Underwriter to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and analysing property insurance risks in accordance with the company's guidelines, as well as managing and developing relationships with brokers and clients. This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge of the property insurance market in Australia.

You will be responsible for:

1. Underwriting and analysing property insurance risks in accordance with the company's guidelines.
2. Managing and developing strong relationships with brokers and clients.
3. Providing technical expertise to other underwriters within the team.
4. Monitoring industry trends and regulations and providing insight to the team and senior management.
5. Identifying potential risks and recommending solutions to mitigate them.
6. Developing and maintaining knowledge of the property insurance market in Australia.

We are looking for someone with a foundation of general insurance experience in a broking, underwriting, or similar position. You will also have:

1. Experience in property underwriting, with a focus on commercial and industrial property risks.
2. Strong technical knowledge of property insurance and related regulations in Australia.
3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and senior management.
5. Ability to identify potential risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
6. Sense of entrepreneurship and drive to succeed.
