We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Property & Place Team as a Technical Officer & Project Manager.
The role:
To provide a comprehensive Civil Engineering/Land Management related design, inspection, and contract management service to internal and external stakeholders, by delivering, controlling and managing property related projects and maintenance services for the Council's land and infrastructure in a professional and customer focused way, which achieves program, meets performance targets, and the Council's Strategic Plan.
To support in the management of Health and Safety ensuring that full compliance is met particularly in relation to the CDM Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act and that all industry statute is adhered to.
To manage projects using project management protocol to include management of change, risk and budgetary control.
What you will need:
You will have sound knowledge of an engineering discipline, and associated regulations and methodologies. You will have experience in flood alleviations, coastal, water, drainage, land and infrastructure inspections, and associate risk management.
You will have the ability to understand and translate plans and technical information and drawings, and may have experience using AutoCAD LT 2024.
You will also have access to your own vehicle, or can be mobile across the district as and when needed.
