Our client is a successful global banking group who have experienced a strong period of growth over the past 15 years. They are now recruiting for a new VP position for their Credit Review team. They are looking for an individual to help the team in achieving specified coverage of assets reviewed through continuous, on-site or Branch credit reviews, providing assurance to management that the grading applied to each entity is appropriate and Bank procedures have been followed. Candidates must bring Corporate/Commercial Banking experience with a min. 4-5 years in a Credit Analysis, Credit Ratings, or Credit Review role.
Role Purpose:
The Credit Review department are asked to provide reasonable assurance regarding the accuracy of the Obligor and Facility grades as well as the Borrower’s Category which are assigned to the Bank’s credit related Obligors. These are proposed by Front Office (FO) departments and approved mainly by Credit Department (CD).
Credit Review department activities include Continuous Review, On-site Review, Branch Credit Review, Self-Assessment (SA) Classification Review and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Reviews.
