People Partner - Music & Entertainment (onsite)

What’s it look like?

Our client is a leading Live Music & Entertainment business with c.200 population across a diverse portfolio of businesses and services. They are now looking for a dynamic People Partner to join the small but mighty People team.

This is an exciting & incredibly fast-paced role, operating predominately onsite in their Canary Wharf offices but with some travel in and around London to other music and events venues. Reporting to the Group People Director, this is an incredibly crucial role for the business, with unique exposure to integral business stakeholders. The focus of the role is to provide full generalist support to the business, whilst also managing important projects & feeding into the design & implementation of new & evolving, tactical & strategic People initiatives.

Now you’re talking…but what’s in it for me?

You are joining this business at an extremely exciting time, with M&A activity underway and international expansion in pipeline. You'll be joining a fantastic People team under the leadership of an established and inspirational People Director who is passionate about the development of her team. This is an opportunity to collaborate on People & Talent projects that truly affect change within the business. This will provide you with a platform to be creative, drive some really awesome high-impact initiatives, particularly in relation to talent growth and development, policy, performance, ED&I, and People Ops. The breadth and diversity within this role will keep you learning and growing, whether that be developing generalist HR expertise, leading on projects, supporting on M&A activity, or managing & influencing stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their experience in an agile & pacey environment! Also, as part of the international expansion, you'll also learn to navigate new employment law and working cultures.

Yep, I’m sold! So now tell me what’s required…

We're looking for an ambitious, high energy, high EQ, adaptable HR Generalist, who thrives & enjoys pacey environments. You’ll have a good understanding of creative culture & working environment (having worked in a creative business or sector), excellent communication skills, and whilst being able to lead & work independently, you’ll also understand the value of being a team-player & LOVE collaborating. You enjoy the hands-on aspect of HR, building real relationships with your stakeholders & relish face-time. A passion for ED&I and talent development projects is a must, and you'll be happy managing all aspects of operational HR, but also be able to step back, see the bigger picture at work & collaborate with the team to design strategy. Ideally (although not essential) you'll have some exposure working with the US or European offices.
