About the Business Development Executive

You will be part of a driven sales team in a fast-growing business and enjoy the challenge of developing sales of quality poultry and meat products into the Irish and British markets.

Key tasks

  • Develop sales with new and existing customers within the Irish and British markets.
  • Assist in meat and poultry development within the greater business, in addition to developing your own accounts.
  • Arrange and attend customer/potential customer meetings.
  • Attend trade shows.
  • Achieve sales targets and profit margins in line with company expectations.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including new clients and new products.

About You

This role will suit an individual who has excellent knowledge and experience of the British & Irish meat market. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Product knowledge of various meats, poultry, and pork is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, time management, and planning skills.
  • Strong network of wholesale contacts in the UK.

The Business Development Executive job (ref:8872) is a home-based role. The working hours are Monday - Friday.
