Games Tester jobs in Germany

As our Quality Assurance department is expanding, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Game Tester for our new QA team in Erlangen, Germany. You will closely work with your surrounding QA team and report to the QA Lead.

• Active participation in improving the quality of the game through diligent testing
• Functionality checks of game features across multiple console platforms
• Verification of fixes applied by developers (regression and confirmation testing)
• Testing user-created mods for the game submitted by our community
• Creatively coming up with new, imaginative ways to break our games
• Seeking and analyzing bugs and record them in our database
• Investigation of bug reports received from our players
• Recommendation of design improvements or corrections to the development team

Expected Qualifications

• Basic experience working in a game development studio (either as an intern, freelancer or otherwise)
• Passion & enthusiasm for video games in general
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines
• Great communication skills and proficiency in English

• First experience in Mantis bug tracking software
• Experience in working with both iOS and Android smartphones/tablets
• Additional experience in working with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft platforms
• Experience with testing on macOS systems
• Solid experience with the Farming Simulator series and its games
• Knowledge of or strong interest in learning about farming & machinery
