Strategy and Operations Manager
We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe and we are now looking for a Strategy and Operations Manager to join our team.

This is the role
As our new Strategy and Operations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our fast-paced media subscription platform. Reporting directly to the Global Strategy and Operations Director, you’ll be working closely with local teams to help them conceptualize and execute their strategy, as well as support cross-functional strategic projects, working with senior stakeholders across the organization.
This dynamic position requires a blend of analytical prowess, innovative thinking, and a bias to execution. You will not only help devise our strategic direction but also ensure its successful execution across various departments.
This Berlin-based role has a global scope, with a focus on specific markets as needed. Proficiency in English is essential, and German language skills are a plus!

Your main responsibilities in this role:

  • Support strategic initiatives across a wide range of topics - from pricing strategy and competitive research to business model evolution - working closely with stakeholders across the organization at the tactical, strategic, and operational levels
  • Support the OKR process, working closely with local teams to help them set their objectives and key results in line with the overall company OKRs, and follow up on progress on the agreed initiatives throughout the year
  • Prepare and facilitate the meeting cadence around the Subscription organization, including weekly performance reviews, monthly country deep-dives, and quarterly strategy offsites, among others
  • Design and implement improvements to the company’s ongoing processes and way of working, facilitating decision-making process across teams
  • Have a thorough understanding of our markets, the industry landscape and competitor activities to recommend adjustments to strategies and operations
  • Prepare and present regular reports on progress and performance against strategic objectives to senior management

This is you
You’ll thrive in this role if you have a strong analytical mindset, a bias towards execution and excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, openly, and respectfully to gain buy-in and understanding from your stakeholders.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, operations, or strategy roles, ideally in high-growth companies
  • Strong project management and planning skills and a demonstrated ability to take a project from ideation to implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally and work with a range of different stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills and basic SQL knowledge

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
