HOURS: 4:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday - Saturday

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for Mixology and delivery of Beverages and food service to residents, guests, and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Accept meal, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage requests, serve food and drinks, and interact with patrons.
2. Set up all side work needed for bar and meal service prior to scheduled opening times.
3. Set up show plates with the Chef for each meal.
4. Prepare a feature Beverage presentation for the day.
5. Set up dining area for service and buss tables, cleaning the area at the beginning and end of the day.
6. Use a variety of tools and bartending equipment, including a dishwashing machine.
7. Stock items in all areas of the pub and dining room as necessary.
8. Maintain table setting standards and keep tables clean.
9. Follow all cleaning details daily and record for both the dining rooms and kitchen.
10. Safeguard and inventory all alcohol at the Pub.
11. Monitor customer alcohol consumption to prevent over-serving.
12. Report all unusual conditions, behaviors, and/or resident reactions to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
13. Respond and react in a kind, polite, and professional manner to residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervision.
14. Protect any confidential information concerning residents, family, and/or the organization.
15. Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to all safety procedures and facility fire, disaster, and other procedures.
16. Adhere to all organizational and departmental procedures in the performance of position responsibilities.
17. Attend organizational or departmental conferences, meetings, and/or in-services as scheduled.
18. Perform other duties in keeping with the nature of this position which will not significantly alter the job requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Continuous walking and/or standing; most lifting is of light nature but must be able to lift 25 pounds and push/pull wheeled serving carts and serving stations weighing 5 to 250 pounds.

Education and/or Experience:

1. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
2. 1-3 years of experience waiting tables/serving preferred.
