About the role

In this role, you will design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems, ensuring efficiency and resilience in our applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll build and deploy applications through automated CI/CD pipelines, enabling smooth cloud-based deployments. Your commitment to best practices—unit testing, code reviews, and coding standards—will be crucial in maintaining product excellence. Additionally, you'll drive continuous improvement in development processes, applying your expertise in JavaScript, NodeJS, NextJS, REST, GraphQL, and cloud-native architectures to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

How you will make an impact

• Develop backend components based on requirements.
• Build and deploy applications using automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy applications to cloud-based hosting platforms.
• Practice high-quality development methods: unit tests writing, code review, code standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of our development processes.

Who we are looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Strong experience with NodeJS, NextJS, REST, and GraphQL.
• Expertise in developing Cloud-native applications.
• Deep understanding of design patterns.
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis) databases.
• Proficiency in Containers and Container orchestration.
• Experience with headless commerce.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Experience in handling conversations with other vendors.
• Working knowledge of cloud security and web security.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
