GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:

The Tax Legal Team is responsible for interactions with tax authorities, ensuring quality communication with the tax authorities and promoting risk management within the organization. Our team manages tax litigation, seeks to identify opportunities for the company, and implements the best procedural strategies (audits and tax litigation).

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

1. Execute the tax litigation strategy, supporting outsourcing defenses against tax assessments and tax authorities claims on administrative and/or judicial cases, in relation to all Federal, States and Municipalities levels (Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, trial Court etc.);
2. Conduct the development of all tax litigation cases to minimize potential negative impacts on Bayer’s tax position in Country or in its business, by presenting oral and/or written arguments before Tax Courts and Tax Authorities and/or coordinating eventual external law firm;
3. Execute the proceedings related to the renewal of the tax clearance certificates (documents needed to: participate on bids; receive payments related to government sales etc);
4. Provide accrual reports of tax litigations and tax risks to next level management, accounting department and to the external auditors, by managing the tax litigation system;
5. Manage Tax Legal System (e-Law).

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

Must have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) with regular Bar Association (OAB)
2. Intermediate / Advanced English
3. Finance acumen, strategic thinking, and flexibility
4. Interpersonal communication
5. Tax Litigation experience
6. Excel / Tableau skills
7. Digital skills
