Position Title: Data Governance Manager

Job Description:

We're looking for a mature profile who can add value to the team with experience in working in a cloud environment, data governance tools, and knowledge of data regulation.

The candidate should understand data transformation and be able to assist and influence high-level meetings.

The ideal candidate has project management experience, the capability to bring structure to the team, and quickly understands challenges and how to mobilize others.

Passive knowledge of Collibra, Azure, Teradata, Scripts, and SQL is an added value.

The different teams and meetings will be conducted in English, Dutch, or French. Understanding and communicating in these three languages, or at least English, is key.

You will work in the Group Strategy & Analytics division, reporting to the Head of Customer Insights & Analytics. In this function, you will represent GSA in data transformation, data privacy, segmentation, and content forums.

More specifically, you will:

1. Guide our GSA department through the data transformation roadmap, consolidating the inputs of the different GSA BI teams (e.g., onboarding of Collibra, migration to Cloud, coordination of BI data domains, participation in the change management board).
2. Act as the single point of contact for data privacy & ethics (contacts with the legal department, follow-up of GDPR cleanings, sharing best practices from the privacy ambassadors, participation in the privacy committee).
3. Own the segmentation processes, which includes identifying different stakeholders, processes, and necessary changes, as well as organizing alignment meetings.
4. Support strategic questions in the content domain (e.g., positioning of targeted advertising, data monetization).

Degree & Experience:

1. Master's degree and/or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in data transformation, governance, and privacy (GDPR).
3. Experience in telecom, IT, and/or media.
4. Mature experience in stakeholder management & influence.

Technical Skills:

1. Project & change management.
2. Passive knowledge of data science & governance tools and cloud environments.
3. Good understanding of the main business processes and IT systems involved along the data lifecycle.
