Radiation Protection Technician Refueling Outage in Abu Dhabi
Are you passionate about nuclear safety and committed to protecting health against radiological hazards? We are looking for experienced Radiation Protection Technicians to join our team during the refueling outage in Abu Dhabi. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a high-impact role.
Your Role:

1. Monitor radiological activities, ensuring protection during routine and special operations.
2. Conduct comprehensive surveys to assess all forms of radiation hazards.
3. Enforce strict access controls within contamination zones to maintain safety.
4. Execute decontamination procedures and interpret results to prevent further spread.
5. Advise on and ensure proper selection of Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) and respiratory equipment.

1. 3+ years of related experience, including time spent at nuclear power plants or participation in at least 2 refueling outages. Alternatively, relevant training coupled with plant exposure may be considered.
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in English.
3. Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems in dynamic situations.
4. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
