The Technician III – Airframe & Powerplant Technician is responsible for conducting I, O and D Level Maintenance & Back shop Operations (within own Trade) ONLY to the level granted by the Authorization Codes listed on the post holders AMMROC Form 35.

• Receives and fully understand all requirements for the maintenance task as briefed by the Supervisor.
• Obtains, reads and understands the correct Technical Data required for the maintenance task.
• Carries out maintenance tasks that have been authorized to be carried out in post holders own trade unless exceptionally authorized by QA and annotated on F35.
• Receives a full maintenance task Safety Brief from the Supervisor.
• Ensure pre and post run inspections are conducted as necessary.
• Carries out a FOD check of the work area before starting maintenance task.
• Coordinates daily work assignments and completing priorities as assigned.
• Keeps the Supervisor advised of any interruptions and potential delays.
• Perform cMRO and or AADMIS related activities as required.
• Returns all Tools, Spare Parts, Technical Data, Test Equipment and Consumables to the areas they were obtained from and sign them in correctly.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures.
• Communicates with supervisor as required during the course of each shift and provides updates and status as events unfold.
• Provides clear and concise status reports of all work performed on AC & Engines as required.
• Accurately maintains work documents as directed by procedure/processes.
• Effectively uses OEM and other maintenance manuals in addition to interpret AC & Engines components blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Obtains the correct PPE to complete the maintenance task safely.
• Obtains the correct tools for the maintenance task.
• Obtains the correct Test Equipment Torque wrenches for the maintenance task ensuring they are all in date for calibration.
• Obtains the correct consumables for the maintenance task and control them at all times.
• Obtains the correct spare part(s) for the maintenance task ensuring that a conditioning label is attached, confirming item serviceability.
• Reports to Supervisor and full brief on the work carried out to complete the maintenance task.
• Assist Supervisor with aircraft systems and AC & Engines fault finding in own trade.
• Perform QC signatory authority as applicable.
• Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the Maintenance Operations at the Facility to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality aircraft maintenance service and a responsible attitude.
• Carry out On the Job training of personnel as required.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Coordinates maintenance plans and schedules to meet operational commitments.
• Perform task distribution for the trade.
• Perform conditioning of equipment as serviceable/unserviceable as applicable.
• Serve as trained and authorized QC and authorized CoC signatory.
• Serve as Trade in-charge and responsible for complete team performance including attendance, leave planning, etc.
• Sponsors opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment.
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
• Perform general and complex tasks (Airframe & Powerplant) related to inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and maintaining aircraft parts and component.
• Perform tasks related to identifying maintenance and troubleshooting requirement for aircraft parts and its systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot airframe and powerplant system discrepancy or findings.
• Effectively communicates and provides valuable technical inputs to the team and operation.

• Technical Engineering Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical or Avionics) or level 7 certified technician
• Minimum of 5 years' experience within aviation industry, ideally in a military aircraft MRO facility
• Knowledge of the military or civil AC & Engines components repair and overhaul is a must.
• Demonstrate actual C295 maintenance task experience in the scope/area of authorization in the last 6/24 months of active duty.
• Experienced in Aviation Maintenance or aviation related technical role. Preferably base maintenance technician experienced.
• Must have current evidence or record as a authorized and qualified C295 engine operator from previous employer.
• Experienced and qualified quality control inspector with documented authorization.
