The Head of Digital Payments will serve as a subject matter expert to all emerging digital payment initiatives in Finance House. The Head, Digital Payments ensures all the existing and new payments products are effectively advancing to address growing market demands, ever-increasing competitive threats, and the needs of identified user segments.

1. Engage closely with the Digital World team and cross-functional stakeholders to define a roadmap that meets business and consumer needs, while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints.
2. Develop & execute the overall digital payments strategy in line with the overall Digital World objectives.
3. Lead the digital payments product organization & drive digital products right from concept till launch.
4. Deep consumer product knowledge and passion around emerging technologies and how they will change consumer experiences.
5. Understand customer experiences that reinforce the overall digital payments strategy, while representing the customer's preferences & behaviours in the product; keeping the ROI always in mind as a key success KPI.
6. Establish & enhance the pipeline of product enhancements, developments & acceleration plans.
7. Work hand in hand with the CIO, Head of Consumer Financial Services to align execution of the overall companywide digital transformation.
8. Keep abreast of emerging technological developments globally & in the Middle East, identify opportunities for new digital products, and ensure earlier adoption to maintain competitive edge.
9. Liaise between the business team and the technical team for all cards (issuance and acquiring) projects.
10. Get actively involved in the solution design and implementation of prepaid cards (green field implementation).
11. Drive market analysis and prioritize customer requirements; work with stakeholders, research teams, product owners, and development teams to define the market opportunity and business plan in support of company goals.
12. Track and monitor industry developments and how they impact Finance House products, in addition to keeping an eye on new technologies that can be leveraged.
13. Identify existing gaps, optimizations, and future opportunities for the product.
14. Lead and manage project delivery teams onshore, offshore, and vendor partners.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or in any relevant discipline.

1. 10+ years experience in digital payments, with a background in retail banking, cards, and payments domain.
2. Demonstrated experience in improving product performance through the use of data, metrics, and customer insights.
3. Ability to think strategically and connect the dots to the bigger picture, while comfortably diving into the details required to ensure successful execution.
4. Experience with designing and delivering highly technical and complex large-scale products.
5. Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplaces, and regulatory environments.
6. Expertise in defining business and use cases, building out multi-year roadmaps, and driving disciplined execution.
7. Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to market.
