Drilling Applications Engineer - Real-Time Well Planning
Job summary
A leading national oil company in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a Drilling Engineer to provide technical support and ensure safe drilling operations. You will be responsible for preparing well plans, monitoring drilling performance, and maintaining operational standards. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience. The position requires fluency in English and knowledge of well planning techniques. Candidates with a strong background in drilling engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drilling engineering or applications.
- Knowledge of well planning and engineering principles.
- Fluency in spoken and written English required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
- Prepare well plans and engineering calculations.
- Monitor real-time wellbore positioning during drilling.
- Provide technical assistance during drilling.
- Prepare post-well performance reviews and end of well reports.
