Job summary
A leading automotive solutions provider in Puebla, Mexico is seeking an Indirect Purchasing Lead to manage supplier negotiations and develop commodity strategies. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration with experience in indirect procurement. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, along with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, are essential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the automotive revolution in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance or supply chain area.
- One/two years of previous experience in Indirect procurement or purchasing.
- Strong MS Office skills required; SAP an additional advantage.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and source non-production suppliers.
- Develop and manage regional Indirect Supply Commodity Strategy.
- Manage supplier relationships within an Extended Enterprise framework.
- Challenge/Negotiate Supply Base with data analytics/competitive cost.
- Support local buying functions: RFI, RFQ, Capex.
