This job will be primarily between both Cambridge and Burlington, MA sites. Onboarding may be done at a combination of both sites, before default schedule is determined. Default schedule may be a combination of both sites or more of 1 site (Ex. three days at Cambridge, and two days at Burlington or vice versa). Subject to where candidate resides and Client needs.

Ideal candidate would reside in Burlington or close vicinity.

We predominantly deliver our services on-site in Cambridge, MA, and Burlington, MA, ensuring a superior level of customer service. The role requires the ability to work on-site, for which we offer support with parking, transportation costs, and T fees. We are looking for someone with a foundation in troubleshooting basic computer and server issues demonstrated through education, work experience, or certification. Ideal candidate must be flexible, learn quickly, and have strong interpersonal skills to deliver the customer service expected of our MSP delivery model.

• Engage professionally with clients.
• Maintain accurate time tracking and detailed technical notes and demonstrated ownership of helpdesk queues.
• Ensure clear communication with clients and team members.

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server setup and maintenance.
• Experience in Windows Server setup, network maintenance, and application troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine network maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot various application issues effectively.

• Minimum two years in IT with a solid understanding of networking, hardware, and software essentials.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• A genuine passion for technology and continuous learning.

• Experience in network consulting/MSP.
• Experience working with a helpdesk system.
• Experience with Server or software cutovers.
• Project ownership.
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff.

• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networking.
• Proficiency in Windows Server management (Active Directory, HyperV, Clustering, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Server, PowerShell, etc.).
• Familiarity with Security and Backup Tools (Azure Entra, SIEM, SOC, EDR, Bitdefender, Watchguard, VEEAM, Zerto, etc.).
• Experience with ConnectWise Tools (Automate, Manage).
• Support capabilities for Office 365 and SharePoint Online.

• Technical certifications such as CompTIA, ITIL, and Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

• Full-time salaried position, averaging 40 hours per week.
• Standard work hours are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Onsite, Monday to Friday. Alternative schedules may be considered upon request.
• Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required.
• Physical ability to move equipment up to 55 pounds.
• The job requires occasional computer work in a Cleanroom environment. Training will be provided on proper safety techniques in compliance with OSHA and FDA standards.
