About the Role

As a Luggage Porter, you will ensure our guest journey with us begins and ends with a flawless experience. Your role is to create memorable first impressions while exemplifying the sophistication and warmth that Sofitel is renowned for.

What you will be doing?

1. Greets all guests at the front door politely and courteously and guides them towards the reception desk or function rooms.
2. Assists guests with their luggage for both check-ins and check-outs.
3. Carries guests' luggage to the room upon check-in and check-out.
4. Ensures that all guest property is safely handled and/or stored in the Luggage Room.
5. Complies with standards of grooming, elegance, and playfulness.
6. Replaces Doorman at the door whenever necessary.
7. Handles vehicle parking for guests as per procedure.

1. You must hold a valid driving licence and be entitled to work in the UK as this position is not eligible for sponsorship.
2. Previous experience as a Luggage Porter in a hotel would be beneficial but not essential.
3. A smart and professional appearance.
4. A positive attitude and good communication skills.
5. A willingness to take on a physically demanding job.
6. Careful when driving guests' cars.
