Group Accountant being hired for a global food production leader, offering natural food & beverage ingredients and solutions based in London (5 days in the office with flexibility).

Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

1. Qualified accountant
2. Solid understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP, and tax laws.
3. Knowledge of multi-currency Group consolidations.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and interpretation.
5. Experience with SAP Consolidation software (preferred).
6. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

A little more information about the responsibilities in the role:

1. Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for UK entities within the Group.
2. Ensure timely external audits and statutory filings of financial statements.
3. Manage tax return calculations and filings in a timely manner.
4. Monitor and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for UK entities.
6. Prepare technical accounting memos in line with IFRS standards and liaise with auditors to resolve any issues.
7. Work closely with offshore accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries.
