Job Description

• Oversee all transport activities and ensure compliance with UK transport laws.
• Manage a team of drivers and coordinate schedules and routes.
• Ensure the maintenance and safety of the fleet.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle any transport-related issues or complaints.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Manager should have:

• A CPC in Transport Management
• Significant experience in the Transport & Distribution industry.
• Excellent knowledge of UK transport regulations.
• Proven experience in managing a team of drivers.
• Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
