The Background:

Reporting to the Global Mobility Tax Senior Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with a broad range of global mobility & expatriate tax compliance issues from strategy to execution. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, selling the company's services whilst leading a team of experienced mobility tax professionals.

The Role:

1. Advising clients on a wide range of tax issues including tax residence matters, cross-border tax implications, social security matters, equity plans, taxable benefits and structure of assignment packages, tax reconciliation processes.
2. Researching and preparing tax-planning strategies for clients and take the lead on the preparation of complex tax returns with international exposure, tax equalization calculations and tax projections for individuals.
3. Conducting arrival and departure meetings with internationally mobile private clients.
4. Preparing and reviewing correspondence with tax authorities in relation to tax notices and/or audits for expatriates.
5. Negotiating with the tax authorities regarding tax ruling, tax appeals and complex tax situations.
6. Working with other office members in attracting new work to the firm.
7. Managing and coaching junior team members.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have previous global mobility experience with a personal interest in tax law. You will have a bachelor level degree (or equivalent); any additional qualifications would be advantageous.
