Coastal Women's Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Tech to perform critical lab testing and ensure accurate, timely results that support patient care. In this role, you'll:

1. Conduct chemical analyses of bodily fluids to detect normal and abnormal components.
2. Ensure accuracy and quality control in test results, reporting critical findings immediately.
3. Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and lab protocols while documenting patient data.
4. Occasionally perform venipuncture and oversee specimen collection procedures.
5. Manage lab equipment, supplies, and inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
6. Train new employees, oversee staff, and participate in team meetings.
7. Complete lab reports and collaborate with the Lab Manager monthly.

Education: Bachelor's degree in medical technology and laboratory science or registered as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent.

Experience: 1-3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
