This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing food manufacturing business with a strong presence in a dynamic market. They are focused on profitable growth and delivering high-quality products to the UK retail and foodservice sales channels. The company is now looking to add to the team an ambitious National Account Manager to manage the discounters in the UK.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing and developing the relationships with Aldi and Lidl. You will drive the growth of the business within these accounts by building strong relationships, managing JBPs, and ensuring the delivery of both short- and long-term business objectives.
You will work closely with internal teams, including Innovation and Marketing, to ensure that customer requirements are met and that all processes run smoothly. This will include overseeing pricing strategies, promotions, and ensuring that product delivery and quality standards are maintained at all times.
In addition, you’ll also be responsible for tracking sales performance, reviewing financials, and identifying new business opportunities within these accounts to drive profitable growth.
We are looking for a highly experienced National Account Manager with a background in food manufacturing. You will have a proven track record of managing JBPs with the top 4 major retailers, with a strong understanding of how to drive growth and profitability in these accounts.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. You will be proactive, results-driven, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets and deadlines. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential for this position.
