An established industry player is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their UK team. Strong communication skills to liaise across all business levels.
CIMA or ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified preferred.

Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Prepare and file tax and VAT returns in a timely manner.

The Role

The business is continuing to evolve and we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the UK team. This is a full-time role based on-site in their Woking facility.

This is a diverse role with full responsibility for supporting both the UK and Ireland entities. We are looking for an ambitious professional with strong communication skills along with gravitas to support their onward trajectory and growth moving into 2025.

Responsibilities:

Performs general accounting duties as required, including preparation and inputting of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations.
Maintains fixed asset records and manages company Capex reporting.
Responsible for preparing and filing multiple jurisdiction tax and VAT returns in a timely manner.
Assists in any sales tax and/or property tax audits.
Assumes a complementary role in various stages of the annual budget preparation.
Responsible for operating lease reporting; including various escalating leases.
Credit Control of UK and European Customers for allocated entities in line with Customer Terms of Business.
Assists FM with the external Semi-Annual Review and Annual Financial Statement Audits; including preparation of various footnote disclosures.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, with ability to liaise across all business levels.
Preferably CIMA or ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified.
Experience working within high-growth environments, bringing an understanding of challenges/opportunities that come with this.
Advanced skills in MS Office including Excel and Windows packages.
Experience utilising and extracting data from an ERP system (Preferably with knowledge of Syteline) but not essential.
Demonstrated track record of project management: identifying, owning, and driving projects to completion.
Foreign language, French, German would be a plus.
