Role Overview

We are partnered with a cutting-edge digital agency that is on the lookout for an experienced SEO Specialist to join their thriving team. This agency is home to a high-calibre technical development squad, an exceptional UX and creative department, and a results-driven digital marketing division - all working together to support a dynamic portfolio of clients across multiple industries.

As the SEO Specialist, you will be the driving force behind innovative and effective SEO strategies, taking the lead on high-impact campaigns that deliver tangible results. You will be the go-to SEO expert within the agency, overseeing technical implementations, crafting powerful content optimisation strategies, and delivering data-driven insights to clients.

Managing an existing portfolio of SEO clients, you will also collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Director to expand the agency’s SEO services. With the support of a talented Client Services team, Project Managers, UX Designers, and Developers, you will ensure seamless execution and continuous growth of SEO initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute cutting-edge SEO strategies across a diverse client base.
• Conduct in-depth site audits, manage SEO retainers, and oversee complex website migrations.
• Identify, resolve, and enhance technical SEO issues to maximise organic performance.
• Develop and implement impactful content strategies, including copywriting and link-building campaigns.
• Utilise industry-leading SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in all projects.
• Clearly communicate SEO strategies and recommendations, tailoring insights to suit clients with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Manage client expectations effectively, proactively addressing any challenges that arise.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven SEO expert who is passionate about creating measurable impact. You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, excel at managing multiple projects, and have a natural ability to build strong client relationships.

• Proven experience in delivering high-quality SEO services, including technical SEO, content strategy, and website migrations.
• Strong expertise in technical SEO, with the ability to optimise websites for enhanced organic search visibility.
• Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and top SEO tools (Google Tag Manager experience is a bonus but not essential).
• Experience working with content management systems (Umbraco experience is a plus but not required).
• Outstanding communication skills—capable of translating complex SEO concepts into clear, client-friendly insights.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
• A passion for continuous learning, staying on top of industry innovations and best practices.
