Are you a proven Commercial Director with the ability to lead a significant, multi-site operation across the UK & ROI, with responsibility for sales, category, and insights?

Do you have the depth & capability to take responsibility for our diverse portfolio of own label food products?

Have you developed & maintained a close working relationship with all major retailers & discounters across UK & ROI?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Renowned Food Manufacturer on the search for a Commercial Director UK & ROI. This is a permanent, remote-based role, with regular travel across UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attract, retain & develop a world class commercial team across all key disciplines & locations
  • Develop a robust and sustainable customer development & management strategy
  • Build & deliver P&L plans that align with the total group strategy, targets & long-term ambitions
  • Work closely with all key internal stakeholders as a key member of the European board

What are we looking for?

  • A motivated & inspirational business leader
  • Proven track record in engaging with, managing, and growing both large strategic customers and new business prospects
  • You will have strong commercial acumen and be a dynamic professional who is both customer & people focused
  • You will have experience within own label food products
  • Management of key customers across multiple categories, ensuring customer service targets are met
  • Work closely with internal and external NPD teams to drive profitable sales growth
  • Full P&L KPI accountability for strategic customers, both existing and new
  • Accountable for achievement of sales and profit targets
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity within relevant markets
  • Maintain a value-added service to ensure successful relationships
  • Cross-Functional team ownership and accountability
