Base pay range

Location: Based anywhere in the UK, remote and field-based role with national travel

Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 plus bonus and future share options

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting for a Sales Director to lead the commercial launch of a new brand focused on sustainable and reusable construction site equipment. This new venture is backed by an established group of businesses with a strong presence in the industry.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to join at the start of a brand's journey, working with new proprietary products in a sector that is actively moving toward greener, more circular solutions. You will have the chance to shape the future of a business with the full support and resources of a proven parent group.

About the Role

As Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the go-to-market strategy, building early sales momentum, and developing key industry relationships. This is a strategic and hands-on role with high potential for growth and influence. You will report directly to senior group leadership and play a key part in business planning as the brand scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the launch and commercial growth of a new sustainable construction equipment brand
  • Drive sales of new proprietary reusable site products to contractors, civil engineers, plant hire companies, and infrastructure clients
  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy focused on growth and long-term market share
  • Identify and win key customers and establish strong partnerships across the construction sector
  • Recruit and build a high-performing sales team as the business grows
  • Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to align the offer with customer needs
  • Shape commercial models, pricing strategy, and customer engagement approach
  • Act as the commercial face of the brand in the market

About You

  • Senior-level sales or commercial leadership experience within construction, site equipment, plant hire, or similar sectors
  • Strong industry network and understanding of the UK construction market
  • Track record of launching or growing new brands or products
  • Passionate about sustainability and innovation in the built environment
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, practical approach to business development
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Willing to travel nationally as required
