Office Based in Newport, Shropshire

Good locations for Newport include Stafford, Shrewsbury, Stoke, Wolverhampton, Telford, Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Staffordshire and Shropshire in general.

Starting Salary: £28k to £30k increasing to £30k - £31.5k basic after probation, dependent on experience + life cover, pension and other benefits. Further future earnings potential as the role and responsibilities grow.

Working Hours:
Mon-Thurs 9am-5.00pm
Fri 9.00am - 4.00pm

Position: Office Administrator / Clerical Assistant
We are now recruiting for the new position based at our Newport office, providing admin support in our busy sales office.

Start Date: Immediate or to suit your availability.

General Administrative Duties:

  1. Making and receiving telephone calls
  2. Taking messages and job bookings
  3. Meeting and greeting visitors
  4. Opening and sorting of mail
  5. Outgoing post
  6. Typing
  7. Filing
  8. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  9. Replenishing office supplies
  10. Completing any other reasonable tasks or requests as required by Management

Attributes & Experience:
  1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with good attention to detail
  2. Positive, professional attitude
  3. Ability to work as part of a team
  4. Experience using Microsoft Applications (Essential)
  5. Proficiency in Excel
