We are working with a well-established client based in Telford who are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced IT Professional to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be providing 1st line support and assistance to front-line users with all aspects of IT systems, administering and ensuring integrity of systems, processes and access control.

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for:

• Provide swift and effective 1st Line support to users across the business
• Maintaining support logs to enable reporting
• Ensuring any support tickets raised are managed and resolved in an efficient manner
• Supporting in all hardware, software, and systems installations, migrations and de-commissioning
• Assist with IT audits and maintain effective inventories
• Supporting the department with any wider IT related projects
• Provide support with any hardware, software, applications and networking

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role
• Good level of technical knowledge around hardware and software issues
• Relevant qualification in ICT based discipline
• Good knowledge of PC based hardware architecture, PC Networks, basic telecommunication network knowledge, windows desktop and server operating systems, email/calendar systems, CRM and ERP Methodologies as well as anti-virus software.
