Are you a Warehouse Team Leader looking to be a part of a successful team? Have you been part of a new site start-up and want to put those skills into practice again? Perhaps you’re just looking for a change?

Here at GXO we’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Northfleet. You will play a vital role in ensuring colleagues meet, or exceed, their operational requirements within specific contracts. You will also work alongside management to supervise warehouse related processes and associated warehouse functions as required.

This is a full-time, Permanent role, with working hours of Monday – Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on a rotation basis.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Monitor, motivate, and evaluate Warehouse Operatives performances to ensure customer expectations are being achieved & exceeded.
2. Deliver shift start briefs including safety & operational updates and other key information.
3. Feedback to the management team at daily safety & operations meetings.
4. Manage the daily Operation ensuring safety is the priority.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

1. Previous team leader experience within a similar environment.
2. Ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels and teamwork skills.
3. Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
4. MHE licence Reach truck or Counterbalance essential.
