Job description

For our recently opened E-fulfilment center in Willebroek, we are looking for enthusiastic colleagues who will help us to make Active Ants as successful in Belgium as in The Netherlands. You will join an organisation that operates in the e-commerce logistics industry. Every day we process and ship thousands of packages for our customers all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• You ensure correct and efficient handling of all activities within the department concerned;
• You ensure an efficient, pleasant and safe working environment and you are a motivator for the employees assigned to you;
• You ensure the correct placement of goods in the warehouse in order to efficiently handle the picking of goods for sales orders;
• You are responsible for the timely and correct handling of reports and KPIs;
• You take preventive measures to avoid errors when processing orders and customer complaints;
• You ensure that your employees know the procedures and that they follow them;
• You are responsible for your employees’ time records;
• You ensure a clean and structured warehouse;
• You perform the work on behalf of the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

• You are looking for a full-time job option;
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is a plus;
• You have experience with Excel and other MS Office packages;
• You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality;
• You are team-oriented, analytical and have a positive attitude.

Who Are We?

Active Ants is a fast growing E-Fulfilment company headquartered in Nieuwegein. In our warehouses we manage the stock for several webshops, ship their orders and process returns. We have automated a large part of our order process by means of our Autostore storage and order picking system, fully automatic packing machines and the goods run through our warehouse via fully automatic roller belts or robots. This makes our e-fulfilment services sustainable and reduces our footprint. We currently have warehouses in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and England and look forward to conquering more countries in Europe with our E-Fulfilment concept.
