We have partnered with a prestigious global law firm in hiring a Conflicts Manager who will provide support to the firm's COLP/General Counsel in executing the firm's group strategy for management of processes related to the analysis and resolution of potential conflicts, based in London.

This is also a potential opportunity for a route to qualification for individuals who are interested in or already studying for the SQE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the primary escalation point for legal conflicts across the firm's group, assisting Conflict Advisors and the wider Analyst team. This involves handling high-risk conflict queries, assessing potential risks, recommending solutions, and escalating complex issues to the COLP when necessary.
2. Design and deliver training for the Conflicts team, ensuring they are equipped to manage conflict resolution, new business matters, and the client onboarding process effectively.
3. Collaborate with the COLP to review, draft, and implement conflict-related policies, particularly those related to lateral hires and the firm’s group expansion initiatives.
4. Provide support to the General Counsel team by addressing general inquiries, offering guidance, and assisting with various ad hoc tasks as required.

Applicant Expectations:

1. 4 + years of experience providing guidance on conflicts and regulatory matters, ideally within an international law firm.
2. Experience in people management is highly preferred.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
