Join us as a Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll monitor and analyse the marketplace and participate in sales strategies to generate solutions for customers while building your internal and external network. In doing so, you’ll meet customer needs and assist the business in achieving our lending commitment while ensuring business goals are met in a manner consistent with our values.
You’ll effectively handle initial enquiries through your network of professionals and market partners, and facilitate an introduction to the relevant banking team to ensure a great customer outcome. You’ll also handle concerns and complaints at the first point of contact, ensuring the delivery of good customer outcomes at every interaction, and you’ll formulate and drive a business plan to achieve all KPI’s.
As well as this, you’ll:
We’re looking for someone with an understanding of the SME banking market, experience of relationship management in the business, an awareness of risk requirements, both internally and externally, and experience of meeting and exceeding customer needs. You’ll hold the Diploma in Lending Skills Professional Qualification, or equivalent, or be willing to study for and complete one within 18 months.
Along with the ability to build a professional network internally across business segments, you’ll have experience in an environment of learning on a weekly basis with a focused coaching plan.
